Topdressing Treatment

Help Your Patchy, Uneven Lawn Recover.

If you want a healthy, lush lawn, it sometimes isn’t enough to simply mow, water and fertilize your lawn. In a region like ours with such harsh winters and dry summers, your lawn takes a beating.

Make the most of your lawn care maintenance routine with Topdressing! Topdressing involves delivery and spreading of high quality top soil followed by levelling and application of grass seed to promote new growth!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is thatch?

Thatch is the layer immediately below the green of your grass made up of the roots, stems and other organic matter. It can get too thick for number of reasons including poor aeration, too much water and nitrogen.

Why is thick thatch bad?

Too much thatch will act like a barrier between your grass and the soil blocking it from absorbing nutrients, oxygen, water and sunlight.

Can I walk on my grass right away after Topdressing?

No you’ll want to stay off the lawn for about 2 weeks.

Our team evenly distributes grass seed. You don’t want to displace any seeds or soil.

*Only go on the lawn in order to water it and do not overwater as that can displace seeds*

How often will I need to water after the application?

Water your lawn 2x daily to keep the soil moist

*Be cautious not to overwater or cause seed displacement*
