Sod is a section of turfgrass that includes the grass, a layer of soil and the grass roots. Sod rolls cover 9 square foot sections for easy replacement of small or large section of bare soil.
First, your existing lawn is mechanically removed and the ground is levelled. Next, fresh organic topsoil is spread onto the area to deliver beneficial nutrients. Lastly, sod rolls are professionally installed by our expert team.
While some homeowners may attempt to install sod on their own, sod installation is best left to the professionals. Sod installation is backbreaking work – with each roll weighing approximately 40 lbs, it is not an easy task to take on.

You’ll have to keep off your lawn for approximately 3 weeks after sod installation to allow the roots to establish. You should also not cut the lawn for 3 weeks, only walking on it to water your sod.
Each property is unique so the time required for installation will vary based on the size and ease of installation. An average installation can be anywhere from 1-2 days for a medium sized subdivision property.
You should stay off the lawn (except to water) for about 2-3 weeks after installation for optimal results.
You will need to begin watering your lawn immediately on the day of installation. You’ll water for 15 minutes per area 2x per day (morning & evening).
After sod installation, do not cut your lawn for 2-3 weeks.
